Alerta – ?

The title of our new alum is chosen to remind us of the fight or early communist and socialist movement in Italy, who stood against the rise of the fascists in the early 1930ties. “Alerta, alerta, antifascista” was an exclamation, that could be heard in the streets when fascist troops would appear somewhere to do their make their terror against anyone different.

We see the large parts of societies around the world being threatened by right wing groups. Entire peoples are being shoot at and bombed by governements with what can only be considered fascist motivation. Alerta in that sense is a reminder to be vigilant AND active and oppose right-wing groups and tendencies to save our humanity, our humanistic civil societies.
