WE ARE HERE TO MAKE YOU DANCE AND PERSIST
THE VISION
On the road by train, by bike or by foot, packed with all their instruments: the six-piece world-latin-punk band Hermanos Perdidos take the audience with them to another world; to universe of driving rhythms, melancholy, fiery melodies and profound lyrics. Danceable, playful and with a crying eye, looking at our society. Hope? – doesn’t come by itself, it comes with action
HASTA LA RUMBA!
The title “ALERTA” has been chosen to remind us of the fight of the movement in Italy and its contemporary expressions – to stand up against the rise of fascism in the early 1930ties and today. “Alerta, alerta, antifascista” is an exclamation, a signal, that should make everyone et up and out to stop any fascist ambitions.
Today we see the large parts of societies around the world being threatened by right wing groups and attitudes. Entire peoples are being shoot at and bombed by governements with what can only be considered fascist motivation. Alerta in that sense is a reminder to be vigilant AND actively opposing right-wing groups, parties and individuals and tendencies to save our humanity, our humanistic civil societies.
We publicly express solidarity with the people of palestine by bringing speaking out and a palestine Flag to our concerts. Because of this, concerts have been cancelled short term. Read are our statements of how we think about what happens
